Be safe people

I should have hit this blog hard last month with all the new ideas and brainstorms we had around here, but one of the things that stood out the most was safety awareness. With all the documentation photography we do on the job site, its part of my check list to see who is and who IS NOT wearing proper safety gear. I remember buying safety vests for my company, (all 3 of us) and being surprised how cheap this stuff really is. So its beyond me why there are so many workers running around heavy equipment with no hard hat and a safety vest that's about as safe as wearing nothing at all. I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford a little bit better than the mesh vests for myself and even though my assistant thinks its corny he get to wear one too. Car insurance providers are always coming up with incentives for customers to be safe, I need to check with my commercial liability provider to see if this kind of concept even exists out there. wouldn't that be nice.
